A family appealed their financial aid offer and sent the following comment:

"By the way, the 500 character limit in the 'appeal' box in Blackbaud caused our message to be cut quite short, and a little impersonal. I've attached the full 'original' letter which I think conveys things a little more fully, including our appreciation for the school."

This could be improved by increasing the character count or giving an option to attach a letter.
