The new dashboard doesn't have as many details as the previous one had, and the layout isn't as visually appealing (there is a lot of white space). The details provided in the graphs are great from a data perspective, but determining how and where the data comes from would be far more helpful, otherwise the data is almost useless. A hyperlinked report for each tile is needed, as well as an explanation on how the amounts are calculated or derived, so that the data can be validated or researched.
I agree with the visual aspects mentioned. Additionally, we would also like the tiles to stay where we place them. If it keeps going back to the original location, it is not helping from a visual standpoint. It would be nice to customize the menu ourselves from a list of options. (View/Hide)
Please bring back the most recent payments tile from the old dashboard. This information was useful for a quick glance, and would allow us to quickly see who the payment was made by. On a positive note, the addition of the enrollment tracker is appreciated, as our school does look at this!
The new dashboard is not useful to me in billing either. I've tried moving the tiles around and they just go back to where they were when I leave the page. We do not use Tuition Mangement to track enrollment, so that is not useful. The Delinquency Aging and Delinquent Accounts seems like they could be combined into one tile. I do not like "Needs Attention" being pinned to the top, especially when it is empty. The old dashboard displayed more information.
The new dashboard is not useful to me doing collections. The previous dashboard provided the most recent payments, which I need and used all day. The additional features are also not useful as over 95% of our students have the state scholarship and therefore each one has a scholarship account so those numbers are not correct, nor are the collections amounts. The only thing that could potentially be useful to me is the watch list. I hope I can have the previous dashboard back with a few enhancements. This change has impacted me negatively and caused substancial delays in my work.
